“Menonos”

Menonos describes the life and the internal conflicts in the Mennonites communities in Bolivia. It also depicts their complete isolation from the society that surrounds them. The Mennonites are Anabaptist Christians who arrived in Bolivia from Canada, Mexico and Belize in the 50s hoping to maintain their lifestyle. Today they live almost the same lifestyle as their ancestors, without cars, telephones, electricity or modern amenities. Nevertheless, the pressure of the society that surrounds them is making it difficult for them to survive.
