Who we are?
The objective of the ‘Biennal de Fotografia Xavier Miserachs’ held in Palafrugell is to promote and disseminate documentary photography. This type of photography is regarded as useful and respectful of the reality. It is an indispensable tool to learn about, experience and reflect on the diverse visions of our past and present.

The organizing committee of the ‘Biennal de Fotografia Xavier Miserachs’ comprises photographers and people who work in the field of cultural management. It also has the support of a significant number of collaborators who have participated actively in all the editions of the ‘Biennal’ in a variety of ways: offering services, preparing exhibitions, curating them or offering both public and private exhibition spaces.
