“PORTRAITS OF A COUNTRY: FRANCESC CATALÀROCA AND JOSEP PLA”

This year, to celebrate the centennial of Francesc Català-Roca’s birth, the Josep Pla Foundation is featuring an exhibition in which the photographer’s images are combined with the author’s texts. In the Catalunya, Mallorca, Menorca e Ibiza and Costa Brava guidebooks as well as El que hem menjat (What we’ve eaten), all illustrated by Català-Roca, photographic and literary narration complement each other in order to showcase the peculiar aspects of a country.
