“THINGS FALL APART”

Anna Surinyach is a documentary photographer principally dedicated to portraying population movements and humanitarian crises in different places around the world: Syria, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Mexico, Pakistan, Chad… and currently in Ukraine. She has worked with Doctors without Borders for six years and she is the co-founder and graphic editor of the magazine 5W.

This project is a collaboration between the photographer and the journalist Agus Morales, the author of the book that lends the title to the exhibition and the co-editor of 5W. The exhibition illustrates socially, economically and culturally different parts of the planet which are forced to deal with humanitarian crises that highlight the vulnerability of human beings. This exhibition encourages us to reflect in order to understand our world.
